Center for Young Women’s Health
A great reference for providers, parents and youth.  Provides health education materials (nutrition, sexual health, contraception, mental health) in English and Spanish for young women and men.

Girls Health

Health information just for girls! Provides information and expert advice about how to deal with stress from school, working out, relationships, and more.

Kids Health

Most visited website about children's health.  This is a great website with a variety of health education topics for young people from menstruation to nutrition to quitting tobacco to sexual health.

National Mental Health Information Center
Child and adolescent mental health resource site with information for young people, providers and parents.

Planned Parenthood
Information about sexual health, pregnancy options information, gender and sexuality.

sex, etc.
This is a peer-education website for adolescents dealing with a range of issues involving puberty, sexuality, reproductive health and STIs.  There are feature articles, Q&As, and chat groups.  Information accuracy is monitored by a provider at its host university, Rutgers.

Teens Health
Health information just for teens!  Provides information and expert advice about relationships, drugs, nutrition and more.

Young Men’s Health
A great reference for providers, parents, and youth with health education materials (nutrition, sexual health, contraception, mental health) in English and Spanish for young women and men.

Community Websites

Horizons Unlimited of San Francisco, Inc.
Horizons Unlimited is a youth development and empowerment organization rooted in community service and advocacy.  Its mission is to engage, educate, and inspire youth.  Since 1965, it has been a strong youth advocate and resource for the Latino community of San Francisco's Mission District.

Instituto Familiar de la Raza

A nonprofit agency in the Mission District founded in 1978 to promote and enhance the wellbeing of Chicanos/Latinos and multicultural/multiracial youth.

Lyric
Information, resources, and programs for queer, questioning, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth.  LYRIC is a community organization located in San Francisco.

National Center for Youth Law
Information about minor consent laws, legal rights, confidentiality and reporting requirements for youth.

Mission Boys and Girls Club
The Mission Boys and Girls Club offers a safe and fun environment for boys and girls to do enjoyable activities, learn, and develop supportive relationships with peers and adults.

Adolescent Health Working Group
Provides link to teen-oriented websites, resources for providers, downloadable adolescent health toolkit and mental health resources.
